Kelechi kalu opted to play for Nigeria than Canada

Nigerian youngster Kelechi Kalu who chose to play for Nigeria and not Canada is currently in the U-20 camp.

The 18-year-old midfielder who is currently playing for North Mississauga in Canada while completing his college education as a Software Engineering student in Toronto University .
Speaking exclusively to www.footballlive.ng is the talented Nigerian descent midfielder from North Mississauga SC in Canada.
The U-20 Camp so far has being going on well,  at first it was difficult for me to adjust to the weather and the new system but gradually and steadily i have being adjusting to both presently.
I have always wanted to represent my country in it’s National colour, to me there is no place like home, Nigeria is my home and i am proud to identify myself with my beloved country.
My invitation  to the  U-20 camp, to me it means a lot to me and i see it as a big privilege to show case my God given talent.
My aim in the camp is to do my best, to give my very best in the field of play and to impress my coaches as well, the young engineer concluded.
