La Liga draw against Valencia leaves Kenneth Omeruo disappointed

Date:

Nigerian international Kenneth Omeruo has revealed that he is disappointed over his team’s failure to get the maximum points against Valencia on Sunday in a La Liga Santander fixture that would have seen them leapfrog Eibar to the 11th position on the table.

Despite having the bulk of the possession and their constant attacks it was the visitors that took the lead in the 22nd minute through Geoffrey Kondogbia but their hope of getting an away win was cut short by Martin Braithwaite in the 89th minute of the game as both clubs shared the spoils.

The Nigerian international who was in the heart of the defensive setup has registered his displeasure at failing to keep a clean sheet and also being unable to get the maximum points, he said. “We keep going. 1 – 1, disappointed not to get all three points”

Omeruo who is on a season-long loan move from English side Chelsea has reiterated his decision to make the loan deal permanent as he has continued to develop his art with the Spanish side.
