Leicester City of England midfielder, Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi has expressed excitement over the club’s preseason tour of Austria, as he says it accords him the opportunity to return fully to training with the squad.
Ndidi could not train with the team for the last two months of the previous season, due to an injury he copped during EPL action, but he is now back in regular drills with The Foxes at their camp in Tirol, Austria.
After lining out with the squad on Tuesday, Ndidi took to social media to express his delight and admitted he was truly excited getting back unto the pitch with his Leicester colleagues.
Ndidi expressed his delight after returning from an extended break, following Nigeria’s participation at the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
On Tuesday, he once again trained with the former English Premier League champions in Austria, ahead of friendlies against Akhisarispor of Turkey on Wednesday and Udinese of Italy on Saturday.
“Good to be back,” posted Ndidi, who impressed in his first full season with The Foxes and is now targeting another glorious season at King Power Stadium.
