Maduka Okoye Inspires Udinese win Against Lazio, Sarri Resigns

Maduka Okoye was crucial for Udinese in their 2-1 win at Lazio in the Serie A, on Monday.

Okoye made the difference by making crucial saves that secured the vital 3 points for Udinese against Lazio.

The 24 year-old made six key saves, five of which were from within the box.

Meanwhile, Udinese moved up 4 places on the Serie A table to 13th, but they’re 21 points behind fifth placed AS Roma.

This victory marks another commendable performance for Okoye, who has now featured in 11 league matches for Udinese this season, solidifying his place on the team’s sheet.

 

 

Hours after the game, Lazio announced the resignation Maurizio Sarri as Manager.

The 65 year-old leaves the club with immediate effect and has been replaced by Giovanni Martusciello.
