Manu Garba optimistic ahead of tough game with hosts Niger

Ahead of Wednesday’s semi final clash between Nigeria and Niger in the ongoing Zonal U17 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, head coach of the Golden Eaglets Manu Garba is sure of success for his team.

 
The former Flying Eagles gaffer also promised to ensure his lads improve against the hosts in the match that is expected to be intriguing.

Manu Garba who’s aware of the importance of the knockout stage, noted that a winner must emerge in their next game, believing that his boys have everything it takes to beat their opponents.
“It’s a win-win situation for us. We have no choice but to pick up victory in the semi final fixture. I’m very confident of what the lads are capable of doing on the field of play,” the coach told Footballlive.ng.
“Every match brings a new thing. We want to improve on our previous performance and win.”
“We have what it takes to march on to the final despite facing hosts Niger.”
