Hellas Verona’s midfielder Michael Folorunsho has been honored with the Serie A Goal of the Month award for February.
Folorunsho secured the accolade for his outstanding strike in Hellas Verona’s 2-2 draw against Juventus at the Stadio Marcantanio Bentegodi.
The 26-year-old showcased his skills by scoring the opening goal with a remarkable volley from outside the box in the 56th minute.
This achievement marks Folorunsho’s first time winning the Serie A Goal of the Month award. Currently on loan from Napoli, the creative midfielder, born to Nigerian parents in Italy, holds eligibility to represent either the Super Eagles or the Azzurri.
