Moses leads Lukaku follows! Belgian all-time top scorer to announce Int’l retirement at 27

Date:

Belgium International and Manchester United forward, Romelu Lukaku plans to follow in the footsteps of Nigeria’s Victor Moses by announcing his international retirement – guess when – at age 27!

Moses broke the shocking news to the world on Wednesday, when he posted an open-letter on social media stating the reasons for quitting the Nigeria national team.

On Thursday, Lukaku revealed plans to retire from international football following Euro 2020, per Robert Summerscales [Mail Sport].

He told Business Insider: ‘After the Euros, I think I’ll stop.’

The Belgian, who is currently the Country’s all-time top scorer at international level, is 25 and will be 27 by 2020.

So, maybe Moses did not see the power of the Rod he stretched towards the sea… but the 2013 Afcon winner is leading a legion out of the international quagmire; albeit unbeknownst.
