Moses Receives Bookmakers’ Odds For Man U Move

Date:

Chelsea of England winger, Victor Moses appears heading closer to the exit door at Stamford Bridge, but he has surprisingly been tipped by bookmakers to join Manchester United, footballlive.ng can report.

Although the man who sent Moses on loan twice from The Blues, Jose Mourinho is now in charge of United, bookmakers have raised stakes in the chances of the Nigerian star staging a reunion with ‘The Special One.’

With Moses down the pecking order under Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea, speculation has been rife about his future in the team, with a possible loan deal already on the front burner come January.

Moses is behind Eden Hazard, William and Pedro in Sarri’s pecking order of wingers and has found playing opportunities difficult to come by this season, with only one start from a possible 13.

He was sent on loan at three different points by Mourinho, following the Portuguese gaffer’s return to Stamford Bridge, a season after Moses twinkled in helping the club win the Europa League.

Mourinho had approved the loaning of Moses to Liverpool, Stoke and West Ham United while he was managing Chelsea, where the star’s contract runs until the end of the 2020-2021 season.

However, despite gory memories of no love lost between Moses and Mourinho, Ladbrokes have released odds showing that Man U lead the betting to sign the winger at 3/1.

United, though, may not find it a stroll iff they are truly interested in signing Moses, as they face competition from other English Premier League clubs and some in the second-tier Championship.

This is sequel to reports that Moses is also on the wish-list of the team that brought him to limelight, Crystal Palace, as well as Aston Villa, Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Leicester City and another of his former clubs, Wigan Athletic.

All these indicate a bleak future for Moses, who surprisingly retired from the Super Eagles after the World Cup, and suddenly tumbled at Chelsea, for which he has scored 18 goals in 127 appearances.
