Levante of Spain winger, Moses Simon has rule out defeat or even a draw for the Super Eagles against South Africa this weekend, as he says the Nigerian squad are going all out for victory.
Footballlive.ng reports that, while the former SK Trencin of Slovakia and KAA Gent of Belgium dazzler admits a draw would be enough to take Nigeria to AFCON 2019 in Cameroon, the team wants to beat their hosts on Saturday.
He stressed that the essence of gunning for all three points is because Bafana Bafana did the same to the Nigerian side in Uyo last year June, hence the need to pay them back in the same manner.
Incidentally, Simon was outstanding during the first leg in Uyo, with his dashing runs down the flanks making trouble for the visitors, but he recounts how several errors saw Bafana Bafana escape with a first ever win against Nigeria.
Simon, though, is now sure of the Eagles righting all wrongs, and says he is confident that they will get a win in Johannesburg.
He added: “We lost the first game due to avoidable errors, something we have fixed.
“The aim is to beat them in South Africa, if they can beat is in Uyo we can also beat them in Johannesburg.
“A point will be good to see us through to next year Africa Cup of Nations but we are going there to play for a win.”
