The NFF technical commitee member and also Katsina United Chairman Aminu kurfi Balele spoke extensively to on the glaring incompetence of the National Coach of the Super Eagles Genrot Rohr and also the observed dysfunctional processes in the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).

The chairman who stated the fundamental problems he observed within the NFF concerning the 24 man list released for the game against Seychelles.

The chairman who categorically said as far as Nigerian football is concerned we don’t have a coach.

He termed Rohr as a coach who has put Nigeria football into unwanted pressure and frustration because of his inability to deliver as a coach after meeting up all his demand when he signed as coach to oversees senior National Team.

Rohr is an incompetent coach following his failure to own up to his responsibilities. Making reference to His failure to submit an evaluation report concerning the just concluded world cup Russia 2018.

Looking at the 24 man list at least five home based players should compliment the list playing Seychelles, he can not invite five home base players against a team like Sychelles , how then does he want the players in the league to grow and have confidence to give their best in their respective Clubs , knowing fully well they will not be invited to play for the super Eagles.

The chairman recommended the likes of Junior Lokosa of Kano Pillars and the players who played against Athletico Madrid in the exception of Kelechi Nwakali who made the invitation list but the coach went on to invite unknown players from second division in Europe.

The chairman stated that Rohr does not watch our Nigeria Premier League to start with, which he has no interest of any kind when it comes to the NPFL.
The Economist went further to speak on the current crisis surrounding NFF within the Federation stating the obvious reasons why the crisis need to come to and end and concluded by saying they have to be very serious over how thing are being done in order to avoid the collapse within the football system.

  1. Comment:the katsina F C chairman is neither right nor wrong but on the non invitation of Home based players to the eagles, Rohr has invited players that are active not otherwise. Nigerian league has not resumed,so don’t expect him to invite unfit players to the Super eagles.

  2. This Aminu Karfi man should shut his crap mouth. His comment gives him away as a selfish person wanting a super eagles coach he can work with to sell home based players to slave contract clubs in europe albeit in mediocre football playing countries.Super Eagles is for our best players and not place to develope home based players who cant even win African clubs sides competitions with their clubs. Infact we all know any good homebased player in one season become foreign based tomorrow, eg Ahmed Musa, Odeh etc. Junior Lokosa lacks the quality in d Super eagles.

  3. He is an Economist…We have talent widespread in European second division clubs that are way better than the NPFL. The NPFL has bee on 2 months hold with her players inactive. This man hates Nigerian football.

  4. I agree . This man has no coaching skills and no knowledge of football tactics. Let him concentrate on providing first class facilities for the Home based players and also the renovation of the Abuja and Surulere stadiums

  5. League that is not funcioning, how is he going to watch league players or involve people who are not playing competitive football.

All three new callups: Kelechi Nwakali, Semi Ajayi and Jamilu Collins have played for Nigeria Under 20, so are they really unkown? Sam Kalu has been making waves in Belgium and now France first division, plus Ola Aina are recalled. The guy is just talking to remain relevant joor

  6. In as much as I do not like to insult anybody on this platform, I strongly believe without mincing words that Mr Aminu does not know anything about coaching and he should concentrate on his assignments. I equally like our coaches to invite home based players but we all know that our best players are playing outside the country.
The best player in our league today is looking forward to playing in overseas next day and this happens to our best players every time. Also, the our league is nothing to write home about which informs why our teams are always performing woefully in continental competitions.
Furthermore, the league has been on hold for a while now and you think the players are in good shape to be called for national assignment. NO! National team is not meant for any player to be developed, we need our best legs every time.
As for players invited from second tier leagues around the world, the leagues are far better than our local league and this players are more exposed to new tactics and equipment.
Mr Aminu, Please leave the coach alone and let him do his job. Even many of the indigenous coaches before this coach preferred foreign to the home based players.
I just want to advice our Mr Rohr to give them equal opportunity to show what they can offer. Up Super Eagles.
