Nigerian-born Keeps Raining Goals In Japan

Date:

Renofa Yamaguchi of Japan youngster, Ado Onaiwu kept alive his top form with his second-tier club, as he hit home another goal in their latest J2 League match.

However, while the Nigerian-born Japan youth international added to his personal haul, his first-half strike was not enough to save his side from losing 3-1 against Oita Trinita

The Japan under-23 national team star hit target in the 29th minute to take his league goals tally for the season to 19, but two second half hits by Noriaki Fujimoto and one from Rei Matsumoto meant Onaiwu’s fell to their tenth loss of the campaign.

Though his side lost, it was another individual lift for the 22-year-old Onaiwu, who represented Japan at the 2016 Toulon Tournament and continues in top form with Yamaguchi this term.

The youngster, who is on loan from Urawa Red Diamonds for the season, got his first career hat-trick against Omiya Ardija, which was followed by braces against Gifu, Tokyo Verdy and Tochigi.
