Gonyeli S.K’s Nigerian striker, John Okoli has been named the Player of the month for October in the Northern Cyprus top division.
The 21-year-old striker informed footballlive.ng that he is delighted at his current form and he is looking forward to surpassing his goal-scoring feat from last season.
Okoli apparently scored 16 league goals last season for his club Yenicami Agdelen.
I am happy with the award I just hope to do more for myself and my team, Okoli told footballlive.ng
It’s another start for me and I hope to do more than I did with Yenicami Agdelen when we won the title last season.
I feel so overwhelmed receiving this award and honestly to everyone who has been part of my success I say a very big thank you to you all.
