Manchester United product, Nicky Ajose has seen his loan spell at Bury Town cut short by his parent club, Charlton Athletic, and the youngster has already returned to the London outfit.
Before he was recalled, Ajose managed only nine appearances for The Shakers in League One, and scored a single goal against Bristol Rovers, but said he is happy to be back at The Valley.
Ajose, who spent 12 years at Man U’s academy before switching to Peterborough United in 2011, is a former England youth international, but can still represent Nigeria and Cyprus.
He said: “I’m delighted to be back. It’s been a tough four months away. I’ve managed to come back and I’m looking forward to helping the rest of the squad to push to the end of the season.
“I’ve come back at a good time. A lot of quality has been added since the start of the season. I’m really looking forward to what’s possible over the next four months.”
