NPFL: Defeat hurts – Lasisi

Date:

Remo Stars midfielder Lasisi Saheed has admitted that defeat to Enyimba in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) week eight on Sunday afternoon ‘hurt’.

Petit winger Chukwuka Onuwa popped up with the all important goal in the 86th minute which gave the People’s Elephants all three points.

“We’ve done almost everything to win,” Lasisi Saheed told Footballlive.ng.

“We played so well, apart from in the last six or seven minutes.

“It hurts to lose. We did well in the game and did not deserve to be defeated.

“Hopefully this game will serve us well going forward and will help us to grow as a team.”
