NPFL: Nwani “satisfied” with draw

Date:

Nwani Ikechukwu has said that he is “satisfied” with his side’s 1-1 draw against Go Round FC in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) week nine on Thursday, despite being forced to settle for just a point at the Kridera Hotel Stadium.

Nwani silenced the home fans in Omoku with a stunner. Adeseun Adelani spared his team’s blushes with a 42nd minute leveller

The Nasarawa United youngster admitted that the Solid Miners will need to beat the likes of Go Round if they hope to climb up the ladder this season, but is keen to quickly refocus ahead of future assignments.

“We have to be satisfied because they are a good team but of course, we didn’t come here to get just one point,” he told Footballlive.ng.

“We are not happy because if you want to be up there you have to win games like these. I know it’s hard and teams like Go Round are tough at home. We have to forget this now and focus on our next game.”
