Emmanuel Ugwuka has insisted that FC Ifeanyi Ubah played ‘a great game’ as they defeated Elkanemi Warriors 1-0 in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) week nine on Thursday.
Ugwuka was the hero as he struck the solitary goal for FC Ifeanyi Ubah who pipped Elkanemi Warriors 1-0.
The striker conceded his delight at netting the only goal for the Anambra Warriors.
“We played a great game,” he told Footballlive.ng.
“I felt good out on the pitch and was very happy to have scored the only goal of the game for FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
“Our way of thinking is to take things on a game by game basis, trying to reach our maximum level in each encounter.”
