Striker Kingsley Ogwuche believes Remo Stars’ win against Kwara United at the Oshogbo Township Stadium will help the side overcome this difficult time.
The Sky Blue Stars bounced back to winning wins after suffering fours straight defeats before Thursday’s game.
“It is an important victory and, even if we struggled in previous games, we needed this result too much,” he said after scoring a brace in the 2-1 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) week nine win on Thursday.
“I got two decisive goals and I am happy. Of course we know that there is a lot of work to be done and we must improve, but victories help everything to go more smoothly.”
“It’s pointless asking what has happened so far this season, as we must look to the future and put in the effort to climb back up.
