FC Südtirol of Italy defender, Michael Chukwuwike Odibe (aka Asaba) is relishing his side’s first victory of the season, and believes it will usher in better results for them as the says go by.
The former Super Eagles invitee, who is on loan from Siena to Südtirol, in a deal jointly-owned by Saint-Gilles of Belgium admitted his side made mistakes in the game, but acknowledged that the result makes a difference.
Footballlive.ng gathered that a 5-0 win to start to the new season in Italy’s regional league is the tonic Odibe is hanging on to make a huge impact at his new base, and says it is time to prove his doubters wrong.
He went philosophical in his reaction to the mammonth win, with a verdict that life is what you make of it, either as a stepping stone to greater glory or door to struggles.
Odibe stated in two seprate posts on social media: “IT’S NOT HOW WE MAKE MISTAKES,BUT HOW WE CORRECT THEM THAT DEFINES US, THANK GOD FOR FIRST LEAGUE GAME WIN 0-5.
