The Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA) communicates that Sunshine Stars FC will undergo planned reorganisation ahead of the 2018/19 Football Season in Nigeria.
ODSFA Chairman, Tajudeen Akinyemi while denouncing the reports of Sunshine Stars FC disbandment, said that the Agency was working on restructuring the Club in synergy with the Ondo State Sports Ministry.
Akinyemi stated: “The rumours of Sunshine Stars disbandment are unfounded and unfortunate. We are only working in harmony with the Sports Ministry to reposition the Club for better performance next season.
The Sunshine Stars President added: “With the reorganisation definitely there will be some changes in our set up including the players; some will leave and some will be retained and same applied to our technical crew.”
Akinyemi who dispelled rumours of massive sacking in Sunshine Stars, assured stakeholders that all changes will be made in line with extant rules and laws of the game.
