Watford striker, Stefano Chuka Okaka could become the next player with Nigerian blood to star for AS Monaco of France, who once had Victor Nosa Ikpeba, Lukman Haruna (Apache) and Elderson Uwa Echiejile on their cards.
Footballlive.ng can report that Okaka could be on his way out of Isaac Success’ club in January, as Monaco’s new coach, Thierry Henry is lining up a raid on The Hornets to boost his flagging attack in January.
With Monaco hovering just above the drop-zone, Henry is anxious to find a new striker signing, and has his sight on wantaway Watford star, Okaka.
This comes few days after the Italian international’s brother and agent announced that he is actively seeking a new club for his sibling.
Henry is keen on getting Okaka in January, but will face competition for the hitman from Besiktas of Turkey, who will also bid for him in the New Year.
