Ola Aina Enters Permanent Radar At Torino

Date:

Torino of Italy defender, Ola Aina has entered the club’s radar for a permanent contract in January, following his performances with the team in several Serie A matches.

Apart from the 2-2 draw with Bologna, Aina has been involved in all matches played by Torino so far this season, logging 734 minutes, as the Super Eagles full back hits the best form of his career so far.

Footballlive.ng gathered that, following another sterling performance last weekend, in which the lad on loan from Chelsea was rated man of the match by many independent pundits, Torino are seriously thinking of snatching him in a permanent deal.

The former England youth international joined Torino on a season-long loan from Chelsea in August, and The Maroons have been quite impressed with the versatile fullback.

The Turin-based side are now prepared to activate Aina’s purchase clause before the season runs its full course.

This is despite the fact that Chelsea inserted a ten million euros clause into their agreement with Torino before Aina moved out of Stamford Bridge on loan.

Before then, Aina, who played on loan at Hull City last season, had extended his contract with The Blues until the end of the 2020-2021 campaign, which makes it dicey for Torino to get him on the cheap.
