Tottenham Hotspur’s Nigerian-born midfielder, Josh Onomah has put himself into strong contention for spot in the main team to battle Fulham this weekend, as he has returned to training with the senior colleagues.
After being ruled out all along due to a health issue, Onomah is back in training alongside Dele Alli et al, such that he could be part of Spurs’ first team ahead of their next English Premier League clash against Fulham on Saturday.
The England U21 international was left out of Spurs’ pre-season trip to the United States last month, due to an undisclosed ailment.
With the attacking midfielder back in training, he is now in contention to make the 18-man squad to face Fulham, and an opportunity to line out for his 14th EPL appearance.
The 21-year-old Onomah, who was a key member of England’s squad that lifted the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup in South Korea last summer, spent the whole of last season on loan at Aston Villa, registering 4 goals with three assists in 37 appearances in all competitions.
