FC Midtjylland of Denmark attacker, Paul Onuachu has been rule out action with his club against OB Odense this weekend due to illness.
Footballlive.ng gathered that Onuachu, who has been in top form so far this season and appears to be angling for a call up to the Super Eagles has been left out of his club’s squad for the Danish Super Liga clash on Friday evening.
The former FC Ebedie of Shagamu rising star has been left out due to an undisclosed ailment and will not be on parade by FCM at MCH Arena.
It is a setback for Onuachu, who already ten goals in 16 matches in the Danish topflight, which makes him Nigeria’s top scorer in Europe for the 2018-2019 campaign.
In addition to his 10 strikes in the league, the 24-year-old scored two goals in the Europa League qualifiers and found the net once in the Cup.
On the other hand, fellow-Nigerians, Frank Onyeka and Rilwan Hassan are both available for selection and have been included in the squad.
