Phil Foden Wins 2024 PFA Player’s Player of the Year

Date:

Phil Foden crowns his standout season by winning the 2024 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Player’s Player of the Year award.

This award comes just months after he was named the Football Writers’ Association (FWA) Footballer of the Year, following Manchester City’s historic defense of their Premier League title, making it four in a row.

The 24-year-old forward is the latest  Manchester City player to win the PFA Player’s Player of the Year award, joining the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland.

Phil Foden had previously been honored with the PFA Young Player of the Year award in 2021 and 2022.

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer was named PFA Young Player of the Year after a brilliant debut season in which he scored 27 goals and made 15 assists.

On the women’s side, Manchester City’s Khadija Shaw claimed the Women’s Player’s Player of the Year title after topping the WSL scoring charts with 21 goals.
