Real Madrid Fans Slam Antoine Griezmann For Trolling Their Captain Sergio Ramos

Date:

Antoine Griezmann mocked Sergio Ramos following Atletico Madrid’s Super Cup win after tucking into a massive burger and a bottle of beer.

The Rojblancos beat city rivals Real Madrid 4-2 after extra-time, thanks to a Diego Costa double and goals from Saul Niguez and Koke.

Griezmann didn’t have the best game or get on the scoresheet, but that didn’t stop him from trolling Ramos on Instagram afterwards. Antoine Griezmann tore into Sergio Ramos with a cartoon on Instagram, with two tongue-out emojis. .

He posted a picture of himself sitting on a throne while holding the Super Cup ball with Ramos crowning him. Check it out below.

The etching, clearly done well in advance of the game based on its incredible attention to detail, even boasts the Atleti club crest on it’s V-shaped sash jewellery.

It isn’t the first time Griezmann has trolled opponents – with his Fortnite ‘Taking the L’ dance taking the micky out of rivals after every goal he scores.

Predictably, Real fans weren’t happy with their skipper being trolled by Griezmann and took to Twitter to vent their fury…

@KroosT8 said “Ramos has more trophy than Griezmann’s entire big match goals. This is simply immature from a player of his age.”

@Nikilled tweeted “Griezmann has lost 2 league titles & 3 UCL titles to Ramos, including a final. He & Ramos are two of the reasons why his team lost the final & Ramos’ team won it. This is his story after winning a final, a final in which he was substituted 30 mins before full time. Barefaced.”

Here is what another twitter user @DannyelRMCF posted

“Griezmann posting this picture on IG Story…

You got 3 Major L’s, 2 of which you were at fault. You did nothing the whole game, but running around, searching for space you couldn’t find.

You are blessed to have a winner like Ramos in your story. At the end:

Royalty > Poverty”

It remains to be seen whether Ramos will respond, but the Spaniard will no doubt want to get revenge in La Liga this season.

Real are second favourites for the title behind Barcelona, while Atletico are third.
