The former Nigeria Premier Football League champions further solidified their position, extending the lead three minutes into the second half through Ghanaian midfielder Farouk Mohammed.
Despite a spirited comeback attempt by Academica do Lobito, Fernando Camuege managed to narrow the deficit in the 68th minute.
