Sonia made the headlines during the World Cup in Russia after she slammed Nigerians who  criticized her husband for his poor performance in the Super Eagles game against Argentina which they lost 2-1.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo has again scored in consecutive games for his club side Changchun Yatai since his return form the  2018 FIFA World Cup.

Ighalo was again on target for Changchun Yatai as they lost 1-2 to Shandong Luneng on Saturday, July 21.

The goal meant that the Nigerian striker was on target for the second game after his initial goal in his return against Chongqing Lifan.

The goal takes his tally in the Chinese Super League (CSL) to nine as he is among the top scorers in the league.

He is expected to return to action on Sunday when Changchun Yatai hosts Mikel Obi’s Tianjin TEDA.
