Striker Ibrahim Shuaibu has waved “goodbye” to Kongsvinger after a productive loan stint at the club, reports Footballlive.ng.
Shuaibu, 21, is expected to make a return to his parent club Haugesund after banging 15 goals in 29 league appearances on a season-long loan at Kongsvinger.
The former Giwa FC forward wrote via Social Media: “It just started like yesterday but with the help of the Almighty God we made a great history.
“Playing for Kongsvinger is of great thing to me because I had a great experience with the club.”
“I just want use this medium to show my appreciation to Kongsvinger as well as the entire team in general because without your cooperation it wouldn’t have been the way it was.
The sharp shooter thanked fans, teammates and management of the team for their love during his stint at the club.
“Thanks to all my fans, teammates and the entire management. Love you all.
“I’m seeking for forgiveness from everyone. If I did anything wrong knowingly or unknowingly please forgive me because I have forgiven you all.

Kongsvinger missed the promotion play offs by whiskers after placing 8th at the end of the Norwegian Division One season.
