Simy Attracts Summer Interest From Frosinone

Date:

Crotone of Italy striker, Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo (Simy) may end up still playing in Serie A next season, despite his club’s relegation to the lower division, as he has attracted interest for a summer transfer from Italian top-flight new comers, Frosinone.

Details of the report out of The Land of The Azzurri indicates that ‘Simy’ is bound to finally snub a tempting offer he has already received from United Arab Emirates, as the attention from Frosinone appears more promising.

With the prospects of getting another shot at Serie A next season, following his haul of seven goals for relegated Crotone last time out, ‘Simy’ is sure to jump at the offer from the rookies, who will accord him the opportunity of staying in the spotlight.

Such it is that the former Portugal-based giant striker is said to be top of the wish list from The Gialloazzurri to lead their attack in the new season.

‘Simy’ is in the final twelve months of his contract with Crotone, but could get limited chances of another invitation to the Super Eagles if he remains at the relegated side.

Incidentally, who played for Gil Vicente and Portimonense before joining Crotone in July 2016, is a keen summer transfer value, despite playing less than five minutes as substitute against Croatia and Argentina at Russia 2018.
