CS Sfaxien of Tunisia midfielder, Kingsley ‘Bobby’ Sokari has received a massive summer link that could see him sign for Basaksehir of Turkey.
Following his incredible form with Sfaxien, the Tunisian club aim to cash in on the player’s value by accepting a transfer deal for him in Istanbul, such that they have already opened talks with the Turkish side for the 22-year-old former Enyimba of Aba dazzler.
However, an initial offer from the Istanbul-based Turkish side on 18th of April fell below the demands of Sfaxien, who are keen on selling him to a club abroad rather than their local rivals, Etoile Du Sahel.
Sfaxien are demanding a fee believed to be in the region of €1.5m which is higher than the €800,000 bid made by the Turkish side in their opening bid for Sokari, who has a year left on his deal with the Sfax-based side.
Both clubs are expected to continue talks over his transfer and from all indication an agreement might not be far off as Sfaxien won’t want to lose him on a free when his contract expires at the end of next season.
