Former Enyimba of Aba dazzler, Kingsley ‘Bobby’ Sokari is set to stick it out with CS Sfaxien of Tunisia until 2021, following a contract extension with the Sfax-based side.
Before signing the congtract extension, footballlive.ng learnt Sokari had been under a cloud of speculation over his next port of call, but the former home-based Eagles star has now opted to stay put.
Details of the report out of Tunisia indicate that the one fondly called ‘Bobby’ now hopes to make a bigger impact in the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1.
He has started all the matches played by Sfaxien in the new season and was on target in their last game with ES Metlaoui, and is now aiming for more, after sealing a new deal to that which would have expired in June.
Dramatcially, it means the 23-year-old Sokari has snubbed what appeared to be lucrative offers from Sfaxioen’s local rivals, Etoile du Sahel and Esperance.
