Super Falcons new kid on the lock Rasheedat Ajibade has told footballlive.ng that the experience she has gathered at the ongoing Africa Women Cup of Nations has been an interesting one yet challenging at the same time.

Ajibade was one of the home based players to make the final 23-man list for the championships in Ghana released by Coach Thomas Dennerby and the forward said it has been a dream come through for her. “My experience in Ghana has been exciting and very challenging as well because making the final list and also playing amongst these crops of players is not easy.”

I have learnt a lot from them and I can tell those still nursing dreams of playing for the Falcons to buckle up for a tough fight because those here are not ready to leave yet. I am also really excited I got my first goal at a Nation’s Cup and it will serve as a morale booster for me going forward.

The FC Robo of Lagos forward said she is confident Nigeria will win the final against South Africa on Saturday. “I am certain that with all the effort we have put in training, victory is certain. We know Nigerians are counting on us and we will not let them down.”
