Stanley Nwabali Eyes New Challenge After Impressive Season

Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has expressed his desire to play for other teams.

The 27-year-old, who gained attention at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations with four clean sheets in seven games, wants to seek new challenges.

Stanley Nwabali currently plays for Chippa United and has kept 11 clean sheets in 26 appearances this season.

His performances have attracted interest from clubs abroad, including Saudi Pro League’s Al Ettifaq, English Championship’s Queens Park Rangers, and South African side Kaizer Chiefs.

After Chippa United’s final game of the season, a 2-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates, Nwabali hinted at his future plans.

He said, “Everyone would love to leave because when you are in some position, you need to grow. I just wish to have another challenge at some other place.”
