Super Eagles striker Stephen Odey on Saturday scored his sixth goal of the season in 11 games for FC Zurich in a 3 – 3 home draw against table toppers and UEFA Champions League campaigners Young Boys.
Odey opened scoring in the encounter in the 7th minute before Benjamin Kololli made it two in the 10th minute from the penalty spot. Young boys in the 55thminute pulled one back also from the spot from Guillaume Hoarau.
FC Zurich thought the game was out of reach when Roberto Rodriguez in the 58th minute scored the third goal for Zurich but Young boys scored two goals in five minutes, Nicolas Muomi in the 64th minute and a second for Guillaume Hoarau in the 69th minute to square the game up 3 – 3 at full time.
Odey who played all 90 minutes for FC Zurich picked up a yellow card in the 47th minute of the game.
FC Zurich is currently third on the table in the Swiss Super League with 17 points after 11 games with four wins, five draws and two losses. The club’s next match is against Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday October 25th.
