This is my last tenure as NFF President- Amaju Pinnick

Date:

The NFF president and First vice chairman Confederation of African Football (CAF) Amaju Pinnick Melvin spoke at the Annual General Assembly held in Asaba last week saying he does not intend to run for the third Time as NFF president.

This will be my last tenure after my four year as an NFF president, before my four years elapses i would have achieved my set goals of restructuring Nigerian football and i should have been able to put structures in place.

I should at that time of handing over restructure NFF to be financially independent by attracting more sponsors and leaving a legacy for others to follow.

We are actually working towards that presently.

I am actually a child of destiny, i was privileged to be re-elected back to office by the congress members.

Being the first president to be re-elected to run for the second tenure, it can only be God i must say.

I want to be outstanding in service by pouring out my best and ensuring that Nigerian football trails on the right path.

Former Delta state sports commission chairman concluded by saying he enjoyed the support from the executive board members.
