Former Super Eagles left-back Ifeanyi Udeze has hailed the performance of the national female Basketball team, D’Tigress after they won their pre-quarter-final game against their Greek counterparts at the on going FIBA women’s World Cup in Spain.
The former captain of PAOK Thessaloniki of Greece, had earlier predicted before the game that in chat with Footballlive.ng that the Greek side will be very resolute and hard to break down.
He also used the opportunity to call for more support for the girls and for female in sports generally, noting that proper and consistent support would encourage girls in other sports to always give their best and in the future, they will do Nigeria proud.
He further stressed that Nigerians should support the D’Tigress as the competition enters the business aspect of it.
