Villarreal of Spain have offered fresh terms to former youth international, Samuel Chukwueze, but the new deal contains an increased buy-out clause for the 19 year old Chile 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup revelation.
Villarreal are facing the prospect of losing the forward who was signed a year ago after his dazzling display for the B team in the play-offs alerted top teams in Europe about his availability.
He signed a five year deal with a buy out clause of €10m which the club are afraid can be met with ease by one of the 30 clubs who have reportedly made inquiries about his availability.
Chukwueze is expected to negotiate fresh terms with a new buy out clause inserted in his deal and the club are also willing to show him their willingness to make him a part of their first team squad with a spot in their team for pre-season.
Widely regarded as one of the most promising players in the youth set up of the team which also has his fellow Nigerian Jack Ipalibo, an announcement on his new deal is expected soon as talks have progressed nicely between the clubs and his representatives.
