Akwa United full back, Gabriel Wassa knows that any team which now put a run together could have their say in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title race.
The Promise Keepers are in second spot, two points off leaders Lobi Stars.
Now, with 14 games to go and with many teams at the top having to play each other, he knows it’s certainly not clean cut.
“The league is tight with the fascinating fixtures and now, any team which puts a run together can get up there,” Wassa explained to Footballlive.ng. “
“The key for us is to try to be consistent.
“But the NPFL title is still there to play for and no one will be counting their chickens – it should be an interesting end to the season.”
