Bartholomew Ogbeche is the latest to reiterate that Northeast United’s focus remains game by game and that they are only thinking now of Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League.
Northeast United have begun the season strongly and trail League leaders FC Goa by five points after seven rounds of action, but have a game in hand.
The club are not getting carried away, says their experienced striker.
“It is repetitive, but we must continue with our discourse,” mused Ogbeche to Footballlive.ng.
“Our final is against Kerala Blasters. Of course equally we appreciate the good words that our rivals have had for us.
“We are taking each match as it comes and want to pick as many points as possible. It’s a matter of choice. Ours is to win.
“Our objective still remains intact. We are striving to ensure it becomes a reality.”
The former PSG, Middlesbrough and Willem II striker has netted six goals for Northeast this season.
