Yomi Elijah proud of Detan’s progress

Date:

Coach Yomi Elijah couldn’t be more proud with the progress made by goalkeeper Detan Ogundare since providing him with the platform to shine.

The ex Kogi United coach was responsible for igniting career of the youngster by signing him at a tender age for the team.
The goalkeeper has emerged as one of the key players for the Flying Eagles under the tutelage of Paul Aigbogun.
And Yomi Elijah who always insisted he had a gem of a player then feels vindicated for sticking with the young prodigy even through the tough times.
“I am so happy with the progress made by Detan Ogundare but like I said before, he is not finished yet,” Yomi Elijah told Footballlive.ng.
“This boy has even more things to achieve ahead of him and Nigerians should keep supporting him for he is destined for greatness.”
Detan lasted the entire duration for the Flying Eagles in their 5-0 win over Mauritania in the Total U20 Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday.
