Former Abia Warriors coach, Raphael Everton, might be on his way to Kano to team up with 2018 Aiteo Cup finalists, Kano Pillars.
Our correspondent scooped that the Brazilian remains the favourite to take over as head coac of the four-time Nigeria Professional Football League Champions.
One of the fans who spoke with our correspondent on condition of anonymity said himself and some others were of the opinion that the coach has what it takes to win titles for the club.
“It was so unfortunate that we lost the final of the Aiteo Cup in such manner,” the source said.
“Everton performed well with Ifeanyi Ubah and we want him in Kano to help our club.
“We have already taken our request to the governor and hopefully, he will listen to us and give us Everton.”
