Abia Warriors head coach, Bethel Oji, has admitted that his team faced a tough challenge in securing a 1-0 victory over Bayelsa United. Oji emphasized the importance of his tactical decisions in guiding his side to claim all three points.
The decisive moment in the match came late on when Samson Obi netted the winning goal for the hosts.
Speaking after the game, Oji said, “It wasn’t an easy task; Bayelsa United are a very big side, having played on the continent with good players and a good tradition. Our tactical changes gave us an edge in the game.”
