Enyimba Can Turn Tide Against Raja – Abdallah

Date:

Enyimba Of Aba coach, Usman Abdallah has urged Nigerian football lovers, analysts and officials not to write the club off, as a he believes they can still reach the CAF Confederation Cup final with unflinching motivation.

Abdallah declared emphatically on Thursday morning during a sports radio programme monitored by footballlive.ng that The Peoples’ Elephant are capable of tuning the table against Raja Casablanca of Morocco in the second leg of their semi-final fixture.

Although Raja shocked Enyimba by pulling off a 1-0 win during the first leg in Aba on Wednesday, Abdallah insists it is not over for his team, but admits it will take a determined and organised approach to turn the tide.

Nonetheless, Abdallah is staying upbeat over his side’s chances of pulling the chestnut out of the fire, as he believes the players are determined to atone for their loss at home.

Abdallah stressed: “It is not over for us, we still have the second leg to play in Morocco, and I am sure we will turn the table against them over there. If they could beat us at our backyard, we can do the same to them.

“It’s true that we have a tough task on our hands, but nothing is impossible. All we need is full and total motivation, and I am sure we will reach the final after the second leg in Casablanca.”
