Enyimba set for Aba return

Date:

The management of Enyimba FC have reportedly written to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) notifying them on the need to prosecute their final Confederation Cup Group C match against Cara Brazzaville on 29 August in Aba.
This also includes a return to their traditional home ground for the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Last week, pictures of the newly refurbished Enyimba International Stadium surfaced on Social Media with the edifice and pitch wearing a new look.
The contractor handling the project, Monimichelle Ebi Egbe has completed works to beautify the edifice.
It should be noted that Enyimba last season played their home matches in the NPFL at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar.
Despite playing in Calabar, the People’s Elephants still had a fine run and finished third in the NPFL log and secured a CAF Confederation cup ticket.
Abia State Governor, His Excellency Dr Okezie Ikpeazu will commission the Stadium on 28 August.
