Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru has revealed that he is not losing sleep over his current goal drought as he insists he is working hard and believes the goals will trickle in soon.
The Nigerian international has gone eight games without a goal in all competitions including the Turkish Super Lig, the Turkish Cup and the UEFA Europa League games against Portuguese side Benfica.
Onyekuru last scored for Galatasaray in their 6 – 0 home thrashing of Ankaragucu on the 19th of January where he scored a hatrick netting his goals in the 21st, 59th and 63rd minute of the game.
The Nigerian, on loan from English side Everton FC has been one of the club’s top performers this season and will be hoping to continue with the team pending when his work permit will be ready in England.
Onyekuru is Galatasaray’s second top goal scorer in the league with nine goals only second to the league’s top scorer Mbaye Diagne who is currently on 21 goals. Onyekuru is also the fifth top scorer in the league.
