Former Super Eagles striker and SS Lazio icon, Stephen Ayodele Makinwa says he was glad to mark his birthday with another top notch deal, as the ex-player-turned-agent, who was fondly called Tiger of Lagos, sealed a deal for to Blessing Eleke on the day he clocked 35.
Makinwa, who has other successful mammoth deals with Eddy Ogenyi Onazi, Stanley Amuezie, Ezekiel Henry (Henty) and Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo, said he was happy to sealed Eleke’s summer transfer tro FC Luzern of Switzerland on his birthday.
“Happy to announce the new signing of @blessing_eleke to @fcluzern_offiziell which was concluded yesterday (July 26) which happens to be my birthday,” Makinwa stated.
Makinwa, who played for ten different clubs in Italy as well as shorts spells in Greece and Slovenia, before hanging his boots in 2015, stated his delight after Eleke penned a four-year deal with Luzern.
Eleke’s deal is expected to last until the end of the 2022 season if things go well for the striker, who was recently at SC Ashdod, after stints with Olimpija and Gorica of Slovenia.
