Chelsea winger, Victor Moses could have a close confidante to see him through his ongoing storm at Stamford Bridge, as The Blues have opened moves to employ the coach who trained him at Crystal Palace.
Moses shot to limelight while playing through the youth ranks at Palace, from where he gained invitations to England’s age grade national teams, and footballlive.ng gathered that the man who made it possible, Jack Mesure is now joining him at Chelsea.
Though Moses has seen a nightmarish start to his days under new coach, Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea early this season, he managed to play a part in their Crabao Cup fixture last week and the English Premier League at the weekend, to open optimism about a turn around of fortunes for him.
Moses’ resurgence will now coincide with the arrival of Mesure, who arrives to take over Chelsea’s youth team in place of Steve Hingham, who left for Manchester United this summer.
Moses’ 30-year-old mentor from back in the days was seen as a very popular figure during their days together at Palace.
Mesure has spent the past 10 years working with the youngsters at Crystal Palace, but reports indicate that he has already completed the move to Chelsea, though no official information has been released.
