POOR PERFORMANCE ON THE CONTINENT BY NIGERIAN CLUBS, EKPO CALLS FOR CRISIS MEETING

Date:

Nigerian ex-international, Friday Ekpo has expressed worry over the continuous poor by Nigerian clubs on the continent.

In a chat with Footballlive.ng, Ekpo said the time has come for the Nigerian Football Federation and football stakeholders to convene a crisis meeting to figure out the best way of identifying the best clubs that will be representing Nigeria in continental competitions.

He stressed that year in, year out, the quality of representation of Nigeria has brought nothing other than mere appearance to Nigeria. Ekpo however expressed belief that things can begin to look good as from next season, if the situation is tackled.
